Events 2017

A number of events take place in Colorado every year. People from all over the state and beyond come and participate in this event. Many come as spectators. Here are the top events in 2017.

63rd Annual Brush Rodeo

Date: July 2, 2017 – July 4, 2017

Venue: Morgan County Fairgrounds

It is a three-day long event, and more than 400 contestants compete. Thousands of spectators gather to observe the contest. There will be fireworks, a wonderful parade, and art show.

Fall Harvest Car Show

Date: September 15, 2017 – September 17, 2017

Venue: Fort Morgan

It is one of the biggest cars shows that is held in Northeastern Colorado. Every year more than 200 participants take part in this event. It is a three-day event that features classics, muscle cars, antiques, rods, etc. There will be two free concerts during the show.

Estes Park Winter Festival

Date: January 14 -15, 2017

Venue: Estes Park

It is the perfect winter festival for the whole family. It is held every year. It includes a variety of events including ski and snowboard competitions, demonstrations, ski skating, live music and parade.

Snowdown in Durango

Date: February 1-5, 2017

Venue: Durango

Every year, the festival has a new theme. This year it’s ‘Steampunk Snowdown’. People dress up in themed costumes to celebrate. People go to Durango’s historic downtown during the parade and fireworks. Night parties are held. Everyone enjoys ice skating and fireworks.
